Mood Board

This is the planning image for the mood board. We felt it nessecary to craft a mood board in order to make sure that we can conclude enough influence from a variety of items and events as possible. . We knew that a lot of hard work that was going to go into the moard board as it was a way of expressing all the different emotions and ideas that link in with our film opening & film so we decided on making a plan first so that we could rub different idea's out and take things away that we didnt feel matched out genre as much. Being a romance we felt that the love heart could portray our themes and feelings of what we are going to try and get across within the opening.


This is our final piece for our mood board. Its bright, colourfull and portrays all different emotions which are linked in with our film such as happiness, sadness and sorrow etc. On one side of our final pieces love heart we have happy pictures such as a happy smiley face, two people smiling and love hearts made out of clouds which gives quite a happy feel. On the other side we have more sad pictures such as sad quotes, a black rose reprisenting death and loss of love/life. Being two sides of the loveheart, the mood board can relate to the way that our film opening will portray different emotions. The arty hand drawn pictures, small printed pictures representing happiness etc and the main colour being pink, we feel it shows everything it needs to as a 'mood' board and establishes the themes of love, loss and romance well.
